BETHEL PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH
Unchanged - Unchanging - Unchangeable
Welcome to Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, located in Bonifay, Florida.
We are an Old Line, Bible based church (King James Version), based on the New Testament model as established by Christ and His Apostles.
Our services are simple, featuring the three basics: Prayer, Singing, and Preaching. Children are welcome in our congregation as we invite families to worship together.
Services begin at 10:30AM each Sunday with the singing of a mixture of the older hymns of our fathers, and some of the newer bible based hymns of more recent times.
Prayer is offered by either our pastor or one of the brethren of our congregation. It is not the multiplicity of words, but rather the heart felt sincerity of the prayer which is preferred.
Preaching services begin at 11:00AM by our pastor and sometimes by visiting ministers of our same faith and order. Ministers are to be called as Aaron was.
Come visit with us this Sunday if you are in the Bonifay, Florida area; or, if you are traveling through on Interstate 10. We welcome your visitation. Revelation 22:17 says, "And the Sprit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
